MERAJ FAIZABADI(1941 – 2013) his actual name was Meraj Ul Haq. He was from Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, India but later settled in Lucknow. He did his bachelors in Science from Lucknow university but couldn’t complete his masters due to financial difficulties. He was a very popular poet of his time and was famous for his easy diction. He had a regular presence in Mushairas at All India plus International levels. His Ghazals were sung by Jagjit Singh. His published works include: “Namoosh”, “Thoda Sa Chandan” and “Be-Khwab Sa.ate.en”
