Irfan Ahmad Siddiqi was born on 11th March 1939 in Badayun, Uttar Pradesh. He completed his education from Bareily college, Agra. He worked for Indian government’s Central information services for 35 years. In 1964 he married Sayyeda Habeeb. He died on 15th April 2004 in Lucknow. India. Published work: Canvas – 1978 Shab-Darmiyaan – 1984 Saat Samavaat – 1992 Ishq Nama – 1997 Two of his poetry collections (Kuliyaa) were published from Pakistan.
